Golden’s acting experience started in 2016 when she attended an open call audition that opened doors to rooms she’d always dreamed of being apart of. Fashion modelling, commercials, and music videos were her world— until 2019 when she decided to take her shot at television and feature films. She was making swift strides landing roles on various major television shows, when she got the call from Keesha Chung and accepted the role of “Dre” in the “Grey Area”, making her official debut to the film industry. It was an honour, and one of Golden’s proudest moments to play as such a deep character, who’s story resonated with her the moment she picked up the script

grey area is Neké’s first film! Through his modelling agency he’s done auditions for commercials and name brand ad’s. grey area was a perfect scenario for him to get his feet wet in the film world: “With the amazing cast and crew we were able to all spread our understandings of the characters and create our own world based around that. I am very  happy and grateful to have been a part of the team!”

Leslie is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, having studied French, and Performance/Directing at the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies, where she was heavily involved in theatre performances as cast, crew and/or exec. She was overjoyed to work with such a talented and fun cast and crew on her first film set. Being able to discover Bethany’s unfiltered and antagonistic nature was an amusing and shocking switch from everyday life.

She’s acted in numerous TV shows, feature films, commercials and live theatre, and writes, produces and directs all of her own music videos. Playing the role of Cynthia, was great fun, as Diana always enjoys working against type and playing complex characters who are deeply flawed and exhibit some of the worst characteristics of humankind.

Denika was able to connect with the character by learning about Mariah's depths and bringing her to life, which was an exciting experience for her. She is thankful to have acquired such experience from 'Grey Area', and to have been a part of it
